This was pretty interesting. Although the thought occurred to me when McKinnon is talking about telephone calls and notes in the dust of his car is:

#1. There were other threatening telephone calls made and one of them was to the Goldmans about how Ron deserved it. Someone had access to the Brown's telephone number. It had to either be someone they knew or a cop with access to the recently acquired information. A lot of people know more than they are talking about or they would not be sleeping with a gun under their pillow in an elite community such as Brentwood was.

#2. McKinnon states the polygraph would be humilitating. It wouldn't have been had they polygraphed Faye Resnick, and the Brown's. They would have all been in the same boat. Why the specific profiling? Did they poly the other female? I believe they did and found her, "stretching the truth?"

#3. As far as McKinnon goes, nobody knew him from Adam. How would the person making threats know what his telephone number is or where he lived and which car he drives? Unless it was a cop? Someone has access to confidential information. I would worry about that.

In the first place the wrong detective was sent to take information and Riske or Roberts are totally disinterested. They still got their pay check. No one gives a rats ass if the case was solved, just a couple more dead bodies.

#4. A.C.? What IF he were a double agent. Isn't that a kick?!
