I'm sure Nicole had a visitor that night. Her bedroom had some clues to that. The bed clothes were "piled in the middle of the bed" (if you are alone in bed, the bed clothes end up on one side of the bed when you get up), there were toy handcuffs hanging on the bedpost, candles lit around the bathtub. There were candles and soft romantic music playing in the living room but in the bedroom the TV was on a sports channel.
There are clues pulling in all directions.
