The Caucasian hair on the cap was either reddish brown (Kestler) or light brown (Deedrick) treated head hair. Roberts had salt and pepper head hair - dark brown and gray. The Caucasian limb hair on the Rockingham glove was another story. It was dark brown. Roberts was never mentioned by name as a detective who was tested.
If the prosecution hadn't gone to such lengths to hide Roberts, his limb hair wouldn't be an issue. But they did, so it is. The question itself might be more significant than the answer. Maybe the hair belonged to a technician that everyone neglected to test. But if we can't be sure about an uncounted technician, how can we be sure about an uncounted detective (Roberts)?
Furthermore, with all of this uncertainty, how can we have confidence that Fuhrman (dark brown hair/another detective the prosecution tried to hide) was really excluded? Did the various labs test samples of his hair? Could someone have told an "innocent" little lie? Or could Fuhrman have pulled a switch? --Jasper
