Three important things about the black person's limb hairs found inside of the Rockingham glove (the right-hand glove):
1) As far as I've been able to determine, they were not found on the Bundy glove (please correct me if I'm wrong). I don't know how that could be possible if O.J. or any black person ever wore both of the killer's gloves. It even seems strange if the hairs were transplanted from another source unless the person doing the transplanting didn't have time to put the hairs in both gloves or didn't think it was necessary. I just don't know.
2) The glove missing from the drawer in O.J.'s closet obviously couldn't be checked for limb hairs because it was missing, but to my knowledge, the one that was found was not checked for limb hairs. In any event, those gloves, which also had cashmere linings, were an idea source for the black person's limb hairs found inside of the Rockingham glove.
3) The closet was first checked by Fuhrman and Roberts. Roberts made no reports and Fuhrman did not report a missing glove. Yet, when Det. Luper checked the closet following the search by Fuhrman and Roberts he found only one glove. He also found the socks on O.J.'s Persian rug.
In my research for Iago and The Smoking Gun (1 and 2) I found several references for a transplanted limb hair scenario on the gloves. The most telling of those references is in Fuhrman's Murder in Brentwood with what he does and doesn't say about his search of O.J.'s closet. --Jasper
