My experience is a bit different from yours.
To work out Fuhrman's shoe size in the picture on the cover of Iago I needed a pair of shoes with an even measure. I used my son's size 12 Reeboks. They measure exactly 12 inches. The size 12 Rockports I have on my feet right now measure 12.75. The difference is that the heels and toes on the soles of my son's Reeboks are even with the heels and toes of the upper portion of the shoe. The heels and soles of my Rockports extend past the heels and toes of the upper portion by exactly three-quarters of an inch (.75).
No matter what Bodziak says in his book, the shoeprints on Bundy measured against the two six-inch rulers on the scene are exactly 12".
We have been through the reasons for so many measured variations in size 12 men's shoes. In the final analysis it doesn't matter. I have no doubt that the police could have found a pare of size 12 shoes in O.J.'s closet that measured whatever they found on Bundy. They did with O.J.'s Reeboks, which had the same inside and outside characteristics as the Bruno Magli Lorenzos that Marcia Clark measured them against in court.
The question is not whether O.J. could have worn the killer's shoes. The question is who ELSE that we know of could have worn them to frame O.J. Simpson?
Who else do we know wore size 12 shoes, stood about O.J.'s height (comparable stride) and walked with his toes pointed straight ahead? The answer is Mark Fuhrman. --Jasper
