Now when I try to prove something, I often fail.
Our brains work in opposit directions, I think. You take the details and form them into a whole.
I see things as a whole and then have to go back and look for the details that make up the whole.
I knew that OJ was inocent when I saw the blood spots and the shoes. Just knew they were wrong, then I watched the trial for the details. I missed a lot of them, as details are not my strong suit, but then you and others have filled them in.
Yes, my way of thinking does have some predudice to make the pieces fit. Now I may take a puzzle piece and turn it in all directions, even tried to squess it into the hole, have thought about taking the sizzors to it, but have not done that yet. If the facts don't fit, they don't fit. Gotta thow it out and go with another theory. Gotta say, hay I was wrong, the facts don't fit.
I think that I do my basic thinking in alpha and have to switch to Beta for the fine work. I used to work with this psycologist that recognized this. So my job was to zone out in alpha in a session while he listned to the facts. Then we would see if his facts matched my overall conclusion. Our team effort was great for diagnosis.
Of course there is the physics experiment that says that if you are looking for protons, you get protons and if you are looking for waves you get waves. But then that only proves how strong the mind really is.
