The area where I live has just incorporated a smallish city(40,000 or so) with the whole county around it About 6 months ago-I got a police scanner. It sure was an eye-opener. These guys go out of their way to help. I have heard calls for missing children-every available officer starts searching until the child is found. I have heard reports of missing adults and they go all out to check out places where the missing person could possibly be. After all the stuff about the cops in the OJ case-I had a bad taste in my mouth but listening to these local guys go out of their way to help people-I've kind of changed my tune. Take care Pat
