Good Grief Jean,
I was thinking recently that the world reminded me of the horrible way Romans treated the people without mercy nor truth. I also specultated that the Media were acting a cross between the old Roman Empire and the Nazie Regime. Then I come here and read this. Talk about spooky!
I positively resent the way Condit is being treated, and he is a Congressman. The President was treated extemely shabby in what is SUPPOSED to be America. I have always had respect for the office any individual holds and if we are to believe our bibles, it sez to PRAY for the leaders of our nations. It does not say to throw rocks at them unless they are killing multitudes of innocent people.
As you know, the Republicans are spawned by Thomas Jefferson who took the Roman method of dealing with laws, etc. I do believe when he signed the Declaration of Independence he was declaring our Constitutional Rights to be delivered to ALL, and the right to the good things ALL American's are priviledged to have.
1. FREEDOM
The right to choose to speak or not to speak. The right to worship any religion we choose. The right to be secure in our possessions and the right to the pursuit of happiness.
That also includes Congressmen.
