The thing that people don't realize is the way the media is run. The reporters themselves tend to lean toward the liberal side except the pundent types. But the owners are big business and they control the reporters and if they want to keep their jobs they have to conform. Then there is also the control by the adverisers. Now how many exposies do you think that are going to be about the big advertisers. A lot of the media is owned or has been owned by Rupert Murdock. He is a weird man who is a very conservative, but on the other hand will do anything for a buck. Therefore on the one hand he fights for family values on Fox news but puts all the sexy shows on regular Fox station. He buys and then he sells to conservation people. He uses his profit from Fox entertainment to bank roll his looser propaganda media like New York Post.
CNN was taken over by Time Warner who is in bed with the republican party big time. That is the reason that you have seen the big change in that Chanel since they took over. Larry King has almost become as bad as Rush Limbaugh.
Murdock at one time owned most of the radio stations and that is what happened to talk radio. Once he got the Rush Limbaughs well established he sold them to people who would carry on the same propaganda.
Now if you go to Salon.com, you will find a story by Joe Connison. IF it has been archived, click on collumnests. this is how they phonned up the missle tests. To make it look like they were successful. Never hear that on regular news either, although it may come out in Congress. You also find these little known things on C-span by the callers who pick up on local news and call in.
