I first attempted this on Iago and it never posted. I got the confirmation and everything but nothing there.

Back about the time the Rampart probe was first exposed another story broke about a possible 400 cases (not the Rampart ones apparently) that may have been compromised and need to be overturned or retried due to the original info coming from Hand-offs of info learned in wire-taps on certain individuals. However, the hand-offs were on people not targeted by the wire-taps.

To compound the problem, the LAPD and the DA's office worked together to hide this fact in trials and in some cases put forth perjury as to where the original info came from. This was collusion on these cases to commit perjury by the cops.

The other day in the LA Daily News but NOT the LA Times was a followup story about 58 cases already involved. This is 58 cases where Garcetti admits this was done.

This is illegal but done anyway. The problem becomes where the DA's got the cops to perjure themselves about where the info came from and breaking the discovery laws which are straightforward in CA but not telling the defendants nor their lawyers where this info came from.

It is the Conspiracy to commit perjury to keep the info from the judges in the case and from the defense is where the problem is.

If they (the DA's) will do this, how much Other Perjury will they condone. charlie
