This "corruption" has the most chance of really blowing up in the face of the DA's office. The Rampart probe has its dangers but this is a KNOWN COOPERATION (from the getgo of the exposure of it) between the cops and the DA's to commit perjury to hide where the info came from.

In the Rampart probe, they can always claim that they were "fooled" too by the cop lies but not here. Here they had a preconceived plan of how to present the case in court keeping its origins from the defense, the judge and the jury.

I sent you the news stories. Have you read them yet? The original story--months ago was much more detailed about how they went about doing it but it is long gone. IT was in the LA Times but this one wasn't.

I have wondered if there is some overlap since the cases known about with the wire-taps are drug cases and many of the Rampart cases are too.

If an overlap is found (rigged cases by Rampart based on illegally gained wire-tape info) this could really blow up. charlie
