Solitairea1, Fuhrman and Phillips did not lie. The problem is yours, not theirs. You evidently can't seem to grasp the meaning of the word "partner" in the language of the LAPD. A police officer can have different partners in different situations. Phillips explained it to Cochran. Cochran understood what he said, you evidently didn't. bobaugust

Solitairea1, Phillips never testifed in the preliminary hearing. When Phillips was questioned by Cochran in the criminal tiral he never said he wasn't Furhman's partner. He explained what kind of partners he and Furhman were. February 16. 1996 Q ALL RIGHT. AS I UNDERSTAND IT, PRIOR TO THAT TIME, SINCE '91, THE TWO OF YOU HAD BEEN PARTNERS; IS THAT CORRECT? A WELL, PARTNERS IN THAT WE WORK THE ROBBERY TABLE TOGETHER. THERE WAS FOUR OF US THAT WORKED THE ROBBERY TABLE. I HAD BUSINESSES AND FOLLOW-HOME ROBBERIES ON ONE SIDE OF THE TABLE WITH A PARTNER. MARK FUHRMAN HAD STREET ROBBERIES AND CARJACKING ROBBERIES AND HE SAT DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM ME ON THE OTHER TABLE AND HE HAD A PARTNER. THERE WAS FOUR OF US THAT WORKED THAT TABLE. Q SO WHEN YOU SAY "TABLE" YOU MEAN KIND OF LIKE A DESK OR A TABLE? A FIVE TABLES -- FIVE DESKS ALTOGETHER RUN BY A ROBBERY COORDINATOR. Q IN WEST LOS ANGELES? A IN WEST LOS ANGELES. Q SO THERE WAS A PERIOD OF TIME WHERE YOU AND DETECTIVE FUHRMAN WERE PARTNERS IN CONJUNCTION WITH SOME OTHER DETECTIVES WHO WORKED THERE ALSO; IS THAT RIGHT? A YES. Q ALL RIGHT. A AND WE HELPED EACH OTHER OUT ON THEIR CASES. IF HE NEEDED SOME HELP ON HIS CASES, THEN ME AND MY PARTNER WOULD HELP HIM AND VISA-VERSA SO WE DID WORK CASES TOGETHER, BUT HE WOULD HELP ME OUT ON MY CASES. Q ALL RIGHT. I UNDERSTAND THAT. A OKAY. bobaugust

Jasper, your facts are wrong and your imagined conspiracy is pure fantasy. Philips and Fuhrman never lied about about Roberts. There was no "omission and commission." They were never asked about Roberts. A witness can only answer the questions asked of them. That's not perjury that's reality. Cochran never cornered Phillips into admitting that he was not Fuhrman's partner. Phillips explained his relationship with Fuhrman. Since 1991 that they were friends and "PARTNERS IN THAT WE WORK THE ROBBERY TABLE TOGETHER" The fact is that Phillips had called Fuhrman just after he was first called about the Bundy murders and he and Fuhrman partnered up that morning by driving to Bundy together. Roberts was never hidden from anyone. The defense could have called him as a witness if they believed his testimony would have helped their case. They never did. Clark had the opportunity to call Roberts only she didn't believe he could offer anything new to her case that hadn't already been talked about by other cops except the possible fingerprint on the gate at Bundy. Clark wrote, "Brad was a real good guy and a fine cop, but he couldn't speak to the important issues of credibility. Brad had arrived at Bundy after Mark had, so he was in no position to attest to the fact that there had been only one glove between the bodies. Other cops who had been on the scene in advance of Fuhrman had already done that. Nor had Brad been with Mark when he'd found the glove at Rockingham. About all Brad could say was that he, too, had seen what appeared to be a fingerprint on the gate at Bundy - not a good gambit since that putative print had never turned up. There was nothing he could offer our case, except to attest to his buddy's being a straight-up guy. Just what we needed for this jury - a character reference from another white cop." bobaugust

Jasper, you can make as many errors as you want, I could care less unless your error is about the actual facts, the evidence, or what witnesses actually testified to in this case. Then I will correct them to keep the record straight. Mike asked questions about what I thought happened. My responses are based on the known evidence in this case and reasonable logical inferences that can be made from that evidence. Not like the fantasies you've made up about Mark Fuhrman that have no basis in fact and are completely unsupported by the real evidence. I'm sorry to say but your war is a joke. bobaugust

Mike, Park testified he never saw Simpson wearing a robe, that was only a false suggestion by the defense based on Park's testimony that he couldn't describe the dark clothing Simpson was wearing. We don't know exactly when Simpson disposed of his shoes. After showering and changing his clothing Simpson came downstairs carrying a garment bag. His shoes were most likely in that bag. Simpson carried that bag on the airplane. He most likely disposed of his shoes after he arrived in Chicago. Simpson had a full time housekeeper, it's doubtful he knew how to use the washing machine, he never had to. The fact is that the afternoon after the murders a freshly washed dark colored sweat suit was found in Simpson's washing machine along with female clothing that belonged to his daughter Arnelle. Dennis Fung looked at the sweat suit and the washing machine for blood but never saw any. At the time of that search the police never knew Simpson wore a dark colored sweat suit the night of the murders. They never learned about that until Kato Kaelin testified about it in the grand jury five days after the murders. The dark colored sweat suit was never collected, just as none of Simpson's clothing was collected during that search. But the dark colored sweat suit was video taped when Simpson's laundry room was video taped. About two weeks later a second search warrant was issued to go back to Rockingham and get the sweat suit. But it was gone. Later blue black cotton fibers were found all over Ron Goldman's shirt and on the killer's right hand glove. The same blue black cotton fibers were also found on Simpson's socks. In the criminal trial Arnelle Simpson lied to cover up her involvement when she washed her father's sweat suit with her clothing about an hour before the police arrived at Rockingham. bobaugust

Solitairea1, there you go making more false accusations again. I don't lie. I don't have to, I have the truth on my side. The truth that neither you nor anyone else here has ever been able to dispute. All of the relevant physical evidence points to Simpson and only Simpson as the killer. Nothing points to anyone else. Not to Mark Fuhrman and not to Brad Roberts. Nothing eliminates Simpson and Simpson's lies he told under oath confirm his guilt. You're right you are very confused. bobaugust

Mike, the time line was established by Robert Heidstra, Jill Shively, Kato Kaelin, and Allan Park. The only way to understand the reality of what Simpson did that night is by not relying on estimated times these witnesses testified to. Estimated times are not real times, they only tell us approximately when an event took place. The order the events happened tell us what Simpson did. Heidstra was outside and closer to Nicole's condo than any other witness He heard Nicole's Akita start it's unusual non stop barking about 10:30 or shortly after 10:30. About five minutes later he heard when Ron Goldman arrived at Bundy when he heard two male voices coming from Nicole's condo. About five minutes or so later Heidstra saw Simpson's Bronco speed away from Bundy. A couple of minutes after that Jill Shively encountered Simpson's speeding Bronco when it ran a red light at Bundy and San Vicente nearly hitting her. Shively made eye contact with the driver and heard and recognized Simpson. About five or so minutes later Simpson had made it home and scaled his fence behind his guest house to enter his estate when he fell against the back wall of Kaelin's room jumping from the top of the fence to the narrow south path. Kaelin heard the noises and felt the vibrations that caused a picture next to his bed to tilt. Kaelin finished his telephone conversation, found a small flashlight and walked around the house to the driveway where he was seen by Allan Park sitting in a limousine, talking on the phone. Park had been there for the last fifteen minutes waiting for someone to answer his ringing of the gate bell. Almost simultaneously after Park saw Kaelin, Park saw Simpson come from the driveway into the light of the front entrance of his house, walk up to front door, enter, and lights came on downstairs in the house. It had taken both Kaelin and Simpson the same amount of time to make their way to the front of the house each going a different way after the noises Kaelin heard. Telephone records established the only known real time of the timeline when that event happened as about 10:55 PM. bobaugust

Jasper, disregard the motion detector question I asked you, it wouldn't be relevant if Simpson wasn't home. But I'm still curious as to what evidence you know of that tells you Ron Shipp could bypass Simpson's house alarm and pick the lock? bobaugust

Jasper, you say Ron Shipp could bypass Simpson's burglar alarm systems and pick a lock to enter the main house. What evidence do you know of to make that kind of statement? Does that also mean you also think that Ron Shipp could also somehow bypass the motion detectors in Simpson's house? January 24, 1996 Simpson deposition Q: How do you set the motion detector? A: By a pad that's upstairs, in my upstairs hall. Q: You did give me a description of that pad before when you said you had one in your bedroom and one upstairs. Is that the upstairs one? A: Yes. Q: Is it a second pad next to the other pad for the doors? A: Yes. Q: And that's the only pad that activates a motion detector. Right? A: Yes. Q: Do you know how large of an area that motion detector covers? A: A relatively large area, yes. bobaugust
