Brian and Buster ………Isn’t this just one more reason the grand jury was dismissed and the Bronco “chase” was never entered into evidence? Whoever heard of a 40mph car chase on a freeway? Where could one of the most recognized people in the world escape to? ………. Jennifer has Cowlings calling her during this episode and telling her that O.J. did it and he helped to set it up – all of thins with O.J., a double murderer in a suicidal frame of mind behind him holding a loaded. The police monitored every call O.J. and A.C could have made and every word they could have said during that ride, which seemed more bizarre than it was only because the media billed their footage of the event as a “chase.” O.J. told everyone he talked to during that ride that he didn’t do it. ……….At the time of the grand jury hearing nobody knew all of these details and several commentators, including Vincent Bugliosi, lambasted the prosecution for not entering the “Bronco chase” into evidence to show O.J.’s consciousness of guilt in trying to flee. The evidence showed that O.J. was not trying to flee. It showed that he was depressed, confused and desperately seeking a way to defend his honor without going though a trial with a “mountain of evidence” staked against him – a mountain of evidence that he could not explain. He did not turn himself in when he was supposed to because he was seriously thinking about killing himself but he let the police know where he was and where he was going. ……….Tom Lange was on the tape recording of the conversations in AC’s Bronco. He talked O.J. out of killing himself. Some trial watchers wondered why Johnny Cochran wasn’t as hard of Lange as he was on Vannatter. Lange saved his client’s life, that’s why. ………Where does Jennifer’s grand jury testimony fit into any of this? It doesn’t. She lied. And the proof that she lied was in the prosecution’s hands. –Jasper
