Jean, It struck me as more than pecular that not one word that I ever saw about this hit the major media. Not even the wire services when it was BIG statewide news here.
Usually at least a minimum of PR is done in a case of a Barry Scheck "success" with the Innocence Project.
I saw this nowhere out of the state of Kentucky.
It is especially true when the DA's decide that they won't retry afterall even when the judge declared that they could.
It sure was"downplayed" for some reason.
And another example of "controlling" the news.
I just wonder if the "implications" for the OJS case was one of the considerations for not doing the PR on this. For a lot of folks those hairs on the gloves and on the hat was the first thing that they would think of when they heard about this case.
