Miss Marple,

The three-way was planned a week before Nicole kicked Faye out of her house. That’s two weeks before the murders – around the time Nicole told O.J. about the recital and he confirmed that he would be there.

I don’t think the planned three-way would have ever come out if Faye hadn’t told Cora Fischman about it when she was still in tight with Nicole. In the wake of Nicole’s death on that date Faye could not deny that she told Cora about it. She had to admit it because she could not know who Cora told or who Nicole told. But the more I looked into what happened the week before the killings (a woman claiming to be Nicole calling a woman’s abuse shelter, the stolen keys, the OBVIOUS need to get Faye into rehab) the more her absence seems contrived.

By the way, Nicole seemed to have no trouble having sex in the house with the kids in their rooms. That’s what O.J. was ranting about on the ’93 911 tape.

The three-way was only what was originally planned for that date. But with Faye out of the way, there was no reason for Ron not to show up for a two-way if Nicole still wanted him. There is every indication that she did and the “lost” glasses were just an excuse for him to drop by. There is zero evidence that he drove. Between Charlie and Rose, I know I got that much of it wrong in Iago. But I know I got it right about him not driving there to drop off the glasses, mainly because of where and how his borrowed car was parked. It was on Dorothy facing away from Bundy. The cantina was a straight shot down Bundy and there were no parking restrictions in front of the walkway leading to Nicole’s gate.

Plenty of evidence says that Ron didn’t drive at all and Tanner’s story about MAYBE meeting Ron in Del Ray is bogus. It has to be a cover for where Ron was going and why. Ron’s boss, sitting at the table with him when Nicole called to speak to him, had warned him to stay away from her. Sounds to me like something Ron and Tanner cooked up after Nicole’s call to keep DeBello off his back.

As Into nos noted, there is no way Ron would have planned to meet a buddy after he went to Nicole’s. It didn’t have to be for a three-way. But if he was an intended target along with Nicole, someone had to call him or Nicole to make sure he was still coming and when he could expect to be there. Faye called Nicole. –Jasper
