How popular is the two knives theory? I have read in Iago the proposal that a stiletto and a Swiss Army knife were used. Was that (s.a.k.) a fact? An assumption? or a planted idea from MF?
I have reviewed the web site of Vitorinox and have seen nothing in their catalog that appears to have the heft and the hand comfort to be used in a manner suggested. One or the other but not two features in one knife.I can see that a suggestion of a Swiss Army knife conjures up a view of a short bladed knife.
On the other hand, a Google for KBar knives shows a catalog of full of short bladed folding knives, some with good heft and all with good hand feel. The stiletto conjures up an image of a fixed blade knife. KBar has lots of them too, narrow fixed blades.
I may go look at Buck.com and review their catalog. Bet there are matches for one or the other or even both there too.
I wondered at the time of trial and after reading Iago if the long blade and short blade could have been a switchblades? Most switch blade and imitations I have see have a brass end piece or knob on the handle. How much weight would a knife need, weilded at what force, to inflect the head wounds on Nicole and Ron?
Switch blade? you say. Pointed end you say. Victorinox with a dropped, or rounded point you say. Did any autopsy testimony confirm a drop, or round point knife or just confirm a short blade? Was the long blade confirmed to have both edges sharpened, or just one? And, if I undersatnd some of these proposals supporting the short blade knife, the fatal stab wound to Ron was in his chest and there was a bruise as though from the knife hilt at that location.
