Jasper-- Thanks, My preception of a Stiletto is a fixed blade carried in a scabbard, with either one or both edges honed. I have just read Dr Golden's autopsy report of Nicole from the prelim and his iscisions are rather narrow and seem to indicate a single edged blade. I had thought it was his testimony where the balde was described as stiletto, but he makes no characterization at all re the blade. It seems he is reporting that no wound penetrated any more than about 2 inches which would indicate a short blade.
The 1 inch x 1 inch bruise to the scalp on the right side was really forceful as it caused lots of sub cutanious bleeding over a wider area. I guess we can infer that that wound was inflicted while she was "standing" rather than being inflicted by a fall and striking her head on an obstruction. It is this bruise and its location that I underestand you base your paralizing first dtrike on.
