Kato’s testimony doesn’t put anyone behind his bungalow. For all we know at this point in the testimony he could have invented the noises he said he heard that prompted him to investigate. All the noise does is set him in motion.
The clock sets up the time Park said he first saw Kato. According to Park he saw O.J. almost immediately afterwards walking into the house. The question is how did O.J. arrive at this point – where did he come from?
O.J. said that he came out of this front door, set his bags down and went back into the house.
Park didn’t say where he came from. He didn’t even say he saw O.J. He just said that he saw a figure going into the house. The only person he got a good look at was Kato. He describes Kato hesitating, looking down the path and continuing toward the garage. The problem here is that he said he didn’t she Kato and O.J. on the DRIVEWAY at the same time. He saw Kato on the north path at the intersection of the driveway and he saw O.J. on his walkway NEAR the intersection of the driveway. Nether Kato nor O.J. saw each other. This put a big gap in the interval that Park could have seen O.J. AFTER seeing Kato. Either way you interpret Marcia’s story and anything in between leaves you with a physical impossibility.
Marcia said that Park get O.J. on the intercom because he wasn’t there. In the animations I gave her the most liberal interpretations of the actions she ascribed to O.J. as possible. I speeded up the clock so it would look as though he was standing in one place for five minutes and I couldn’t get him out of the south path because that’s where Marcia said he was during that time.
Marcia argued that O.J. left the south path in a panic because he was afraid he would get caught back there and wouldn’t be able to explain it. Marcia did not say that he went to the bag behind the Bentley to hide his bloody shoes and sweat suite (forgetting about the bloody glove or giving up on trying to find it) and walking into the house in his skivvies. She said that he walked from the gate to the front door. She made a big point of the shadows CLOSE TO THE HOUSE that he could hide in so that Park couldn’t see him until he was entering the house. That was her explanation for why Park didn’t see him until he got to his walkway.
Maria’s cart was not to scale and the Bentley could not have been where she indicated on that cart because no such place existed. O.J. could not have gone to the Bentley to the pathway because Marcia said he got to the south path by going through the Salinger’s yard and jumping the fence. He could not have gone from the garage t the Bentley without Park seeing him. The bag behind the Bentley didn’t appear in Maria’s story until O.J., Kato and Park were together, ready to leave and Park offered to get the bag. That’s why it isn’t in the animation. It wasn’t in her story of Park sighting O.J. She never says when or how he put missing shoes, knife and clothes in the bag. She only suggests that some time, somehow he did. You can’t animate some time somehow. --Jasper
