I saw what you were saying the first time you said it. I anticipated all of those variables before I made the animations. However, It seems from your insistence that I include the bag in “THE” animation that I should set up the Animations page to make it clearer that the ones involving Park spotting O.J. are four versions of the same event – not one.
1. Kato’s Walk. This is Kato’s story, O.J.’s story and Allan Park’s story. It is the only animation that puts everyone in motion in a way that doesn’t clash with the testimony of the only three people who where there. It is the only animation of the four that meshes with time, space and reason. Nobody has to stand around and nobody has to invent something for O.J. to do so it won’t look ridiculous. All it does is show the conflict in ONE aspect of Park’s testimony, the part where he said he saw O.J. almost immediately after he saw Kato.
2. Fuhrman’s Story. Fuhrman doesn’t have O.J. standing around. The time Marcia does not account O.J.’s movements is the flaw in her story that he fixes with his story of O.J. going into the maid’s room.
3. Marcia’s Story 1. Marcia’s version of What Allan Park and Kato Kaelin said they saw and did is not what they testified to. Park did not say he saw O.J. behind the garage. Marcia did. Park did not say he saw O.J. coming from the garage. Marcia did. Kato did not say he heard somebody bump into his wall. Marcia did. This is Marcia’s story but she tells it in a way that leaves room for two interpretations. In this interpretation Kato and O.J. run into each other somewhere on the driveway between the walkway to the north-front entrance of O.J.’s house and the garage.
4. Marcia’s Story 2. In this version, Kato and O.J. don’t have to cross each other but Kato would see O.J. and Park would see O.J. before he saw Kato.
And yes, Rose, I know that people are aware of the fuss Marcia made about the bag but it’s not in the testimony about O.J.’s movements and Marcia did not include it in her speculation. She used the bag to suggest what happened to the knife and shoes, not to describe O.J.’s movements. Everyone has a different idea of what O.J. put in the bag and when he did it. Nobody can cover all of the iterations and none of them make sense. Any story I made up to fill in the blanks would give anyone so inclined an excuse to dismiss it just because it wouldn’t be Marcia’s story. I would be mine – or yours. The way it is, they can fill it any way they want unless they are looking for an excuse to dismiss it.
I didn’t say that O.J. couldn’t have gone to the bag without being seen. I said that he couldn’t’ have done in the way Marcia suggested on her diagram because the spot where Marcia claimed the Bentley was parked didn’t exist. The area NORTH of the garage was dark enough for O.J. to enter the SOUTH front door of his house without being seen. Marcia used the location of the Bentley to get around the inconsistency. There is also a question O.J. just how dark that area was (more about that later).
Park was looking in that area (where his boss Dale St. John told him to look) when he saw Kato on the north path. So was Kato. AT SOME POINT O.J. would have had to LEAVE the shadows. If he was coming from the shadows and Park was looking in that direction, Kato would have seen O.J. and Park would have seen O.J. first. –Jasper
