I read Paula’s book. It was a total waste – unless you like semi-steamy soap operas that go nowhere but give you intimated details that only a lover could know. Apparently O.J. has a very large penis (Gee—I wonder how it compares to Bill Clinton’s!) and she thought he has a great lover.
For those who like fashion stuff, there is some of that. If you want to know about Paula’s career, you get a lot of that. You get stores about Paula’s other affairs and her longing for true love. Oh, yeah – she did devote six lines to her Toyota 4Runner being stolen. She replaced it in April with a white Bronco.
“When they finally recovered the Toyota, it was filled with hypodermic needles, pornographic magazines, and bullet holes. An out of work actor –he’d also left his 8x10 glossies behind – had stolen my truck, crashed it into a dozen parked cars during the police pursuit and totaled the front end.”
She didn’t mention the surveillance log on Nicole or the name William Wasz. She did mention a dramatic scene where she was frightened when O.J. snatched a telephone away from her. She said it was a little too physical for her. She also shared her innermost feeling that she was competing with Nicole and O.J. was only marking time with her until he could get back with Nicole. Thus the title of her book, The Other Woman: My Years With O.J. A Story of Love, Trust and Betrayal
That’s about it.
The bizarre incidents with O.J., Nicole and Paula shortly before the murders could be related to the murders but not in the way one would think. O.J. had a lot of friends who were connected to all kinds of powerful people. The fact that he played golf with the President of the United States tells you all by itself that a whole bunch of people were interested in him.
Intelligence operations are active all over North America. I don’t just mean US intelligence operations. Allies are not supposed to spy on each other but they do. The US spies on the British and the Russians (still). The British and the Russians spy on us. The Israeli MOSAD spy on everybody. Then you have corporate spies, organized crime spies and the spies who spy on criminals – and work undercover in criminal organizations. When you look into the Heidi Fleiss case and see where those tentacles lead your head will spin. They lead to a madam called Alex, an Israeli MOSAD hit man named Cookie, porn stars, Nicole, Darrel Gates, LAPD officers moonlighting as bodyguards for “Heidi’s girls,” cocaine, movie studios, unsolved murders and frightened people with amnesia. You also get stray kooks who get off on stalking or harassing the rich and famous.
These were the waters that O.J. and Nicole and the people close to them swam in. None of the things that happened to them shortly before the murders had to be connected to the murders but they sure as hell provided plenty of cover for the killer. –Jasper
