I am not convinced that Scott Peterson is innocent or guilty. I understand what you are saying about his continuation of his lie indicating that he did not have guilty knowledge but a smart guy might do that just to make that argument. The same goes for dumping the body near where he said he was.
The prosecution has presented evidence that the man is a jerk and a liar but no evidence that he killed his wife. That bothers me. Even if he did it, you can’t convict him of murder on evidence that he was jerk and a liar. You can’t convict him on evidence that he could have done it or speculation that he could have hired someone to do it. There are too many innocent people in prison today based on that kind of prosecution. If Scott Peterson is convicted on the evidence I’ve seen so far there will surely be many more. –Jasper
