I am not one to say "to hell with the neighbors", so the dog experiment will probaly never be done. And, yes, I think the cops would come real fast.
I do not have time right now to seek information under the Freedon of Information Act. Maybe some time down the road. I can't remember where I heard that Hodgement had the files in his garage but Dick and I have known for quite a while.
The couple's memories might be subject to "reasonable doubt" but they may have some information that would be helpful in finding out more about this crime.
I believe it was Malcom Brinkwater that talked to Dick about the BBC special. The Nissan driver did come forward within days of Jill Shively. I can't answer for why he did not push his story in the media.
Why should I sneak onto the Salinger's property? Trespassing is illegal.
As to Kato's involvement, you are right that Dick alleged that Kato cleaned up the Bronco. I was referring to criminal involvment not innocent involvment of a tenant helping out his landlord.
The office I am referring to is the one next to Kato's room which he testified was normally locked to him. He requested special permission to be in there that night to use the typewriter to prepare a resume. He also commented in Eliot book that he could see OJ's bedroom from that office.
I do not see Kato as the murder because I think if he had been, he would have cracked by now. This appears to be more the work of a professional than a one time killer. I say this because of the staging of the Nicole's body, the wiping up of the sidewalk (see Dick's articles), and the placement of the glove. Kato had the access to drop the glove on the driveway or in the house or leave it in the bronco. Far more incriminating that on the walkway behind his room.
