The word you’re looking for is Freudian not Fredudian. Was your subconscious perhaps trying to insert Fred Goldman into this somehow? Of course not. Maybe you were just getting ahead of yourself or lagging a little behind on a previous draft.
I used the word “racial” in dozens of recent drafts for another post so there is no hidden meaning in how I could have typed it once I got past the “c.” A Freudian slip is a word or phrase that belies your attempt to deceive. The “slip” is the word you would have used if you were weren’t trying to hide what you thought.
I’m taking up this much space with your “Freudian slip” note only because of the emphases YOU place on race in evaluating my motives for considering Fuhrman as a murder suspect. It never seems to occur to you how much your theory of Kato’s guilt rests on discrepancies between his testimony and Fuhrman’s. Where they differ, you see evidence that KATO lied. You use Fuhrman’s word as gospel to support your thesis. Kato’s story of the thumps led Fuhrman to the glove that you say Kato planted (still looking for why Kato let Park see him). Kato manipulated Fuhrman because Kato was so cleaver and Fuhrman was too tired to think straight. T he questions I asked were meant for speculation. But speculation built on speculation is useless. “After al, he also didn't think of the incongruity of reporting both gates closed. He din't bother to move his source of blood drops around to put tailings on them. He kept the Rockinham glove hidden and sealed until the cops showed up, thereby causing it to be questioned due to its wetness.” Where is the evidence that Kato had anything to do with any of these things? Hard evidence says that Fuhrman had something to do with all of them.
You speculate that Kato didn’t bang on the wall to make Rachael a better witness because he didn’t think of it and he got away with many sloppy things like that (with no inside knowledge of LAPD murder investigations) because the police were sloppier than he was. Fuhrman had inside knowledge of how sloppy the police where and put a lot of slop in the process himself. But that doesn’t count.
You said Kato could have easily hidden the incriminating evidence because he could not account for hours of his time after he finished talking to Rachael at 1:30. That leaves the question of what he did with them BEFORE then? No telling. Kato hid the shoes and knife SOMEWHERE and washed the clothes (then what did he do with them?). He called a cop in another precinct at 10:30 (never mind what Rachel said because he told her it was 10:30 when it wasn’t) to give himself a head start. What did he do with the head start? He sat in his room talking to Rachael Ferrara for two hours.
Why did Kato plant the glove instead of the knife? (I know you meant to say “knife” while fighting – I also am inclined to believe that the killer didn’t wear the gloves): Kaelin goet some his his own DNA on the shoes and glove while fighting Goldman.”
Where is the evidence that Kato was “shedding” his DNA? –Jasper
