I have read and Vannatter basically told me personally that Kato changed his testimony in the civil trial. You will also recall that Clark was badgering Kato because he wasn't saying what she wanted him to say. He was coached--big time ---for that testimony in the criminal case.
Petro Man and his group got him to change his testimony and Petro Man bragged that he had done so.
You know what I find interesting in the civil testimony that John posted?
From one day to the next, it comes out that at one time Kato said the noise was behind the AC and the other day says it was 5 or 6 feet down---where the glove was found. Sounds like somebody was getting Kato to move the moise to the location of where the glove was found to me.
And did anybody notice how much in that exchange that Kato was being lead to his answers?
And here would be a good place to remind everybody that one of the other detectives (Phillips I think) testified in the criminal trial that the notes taken with Kato were NOT Fuhrman's writing although they were given to the court as Fuhrman's notes.
