As long as you don't write the entire book verbatim, or write something without giving credit of where the info came from you are safe for copyright. Also, if you don't charge for the information without prior permission. In fact all of this is about prior permission or arrangement. In a way it is as if your loaning us the book for informational purposes and we all know that if we loan it we have to say who loaned it to us and that you bought the book. Weird huh?
