It's a very interesting subject and you are absolutely right. A speach pattern, or even thinking pattern, says more than the words themselves. When I first read the interrogation I couldn't believe that some people didn't see innocence where I did. Take the part where O.J. tells the story of why he had a gun in the Bentley. To me that said that he didn't know what the murder weapon was, he thought that maybe he was sitting there being questioned because his gun had some connection to the murders. He wouldn't have passed a lie detector on that because he had some guilty feeling, that he could somehow have been responsible.
