Huh?

".. Maybe the noise heard by Kato was someone climbing out of Arnelle's window using the secret way?..."

That would have meant breaking down the cobwebs. It also sould NOT explain the equally spaced and equally timed nature of the thumps. In fact, it wouldn't explan the thumps at all.

"Maybe someone O.J. didn't like was staying with Arnelle in her room area and that was his way in and out? All speculation..."

Considering that it is well established that Arnelle was out with friends till about 1:30 that night, it is one hell of a speculation! Her unwanted boyfried was sitting in her room alone and silent and in the dark (lest OJ or Kaelin spot him?)?? That's one damn boring way to spend your time.

"..It may explain why O.J. let it go unexplained to protect Arnelle..."

O.J. didn't 'let it go unexplained'. Saying that implies he knew the explanation of the thumps noises but hid it from us. Since this 'undlesirable boyfriend' wouldn't have had anything to do with the murders , anyway, lwhy wouldn't O.J. or Arnelle simply offer up this explanation?

"I don't know. I was simply throwing out ideas that we haven't even considered before other than the rumor that Kato had climbed in through Arnelles window..."

This is NOT a 'rumor'. It is a recorded statement from Kaelin and is at least theoretically verifiable through Arnelle, Jason, or anyone else at the Memorial Day party.

"..which causes a problem with Furhman's testimony about the cobwebs...."

Such as?

"It isn't as if we don't have all kinds of problems with Furhman's testimony."

if you say so.

I want to add that even if you grant that there was an undesirable person in Arnelle's room, the logical way for him/her to have left would have been through the tennis court gate in the east side of the property (used by OJ to escape the media a couple of days after the murders) and NOT around the guest house and down the south path.
