Also we may have a lot of evidence but are missing the fundamental piece or pieces. In the LIza Borden case, someone talked years after and gave the one piece of the evidence to another who had another piece of evidence. This lead to the correct paper chase. That gave the fundamental piece of evidence. The other fundamental piece was found after long being hidden. It took some 60 plus years to find this evidence and then more years to put it together and distribute it in book form. And very few people even know today that LIza Borden did not give her father 40 wacks.

In the Borden case the first piece of evidence was the discription of the man fleeing from the murder scene to a person who knew who the discription was of. A paper case then showed that Mr. Borden had an illigitimate son that was the killer. But then the question is why didn't Liza give the information about this brother and clear herself. The lost piece of paper showed that Mr. Borden had made a new will and if Liza had cleared herself of murder then she and her sister would have been left pennyless. (The paper was found in a house that the prosecutor had lived in. It also would have brought out some crooked deads that Borden had done and would implicate some of the state politicians.) There fore they put on a show trial so none of it would be known.

And the person who put it all together was just like you and me. A person who had always been interested in the murder and trial and finally found the pieces to put it all together and write the book.

So I say that we may not be alive but some day someone will find those fundamental pieces of evidence that puts it all together, the piece that answers all the questions.
