I finally got around to checking the videotape of Phillip’s testimony. As I see happening in so many instances, the crucial part we wanted to clarify is not on the tape I have. Just before Phillips testifies that Fuhrman was not his partner, the judge took a break to switch court reporters. When the tape resumes the testimony, it starts AFTER Phillips has testified about not being partners. This tape was taped from CourtTV. I may check to see if my other source has a different 2/16 tape from another source to review.
I did notice something interesting about the detectives getting the address to Simpson house. Phillips is testifying. Note that they ran the JEEP license plate to get the address. So Nicole’s jeep was registered with the Simpson address.

NOW, WHEN YOU WERE TALKING WITH THE OTHER DETECTIVES WITH MARK FUHRMAN, DID YOU EVER HEAR HIM SAY, WHEN THE TWO OF YOU WERE JUST WAITING AROUND, "I KNOW THAT" -- STRIKE THAT -- "I KNOW WHERE O.J. SIMPSON LIVES BECAUSE I'VE BEEN THERE BEFORE"? EVER HEAR HIM SAY THAT IN YOUR PRESENCE? A I THINK THAT WAS FROM THE CONVERSATION WE WERE TALKING ABOUT WHERE HE LIVED AND HE SAID, "I KNOW HE LIVES OFF OF SUNSET SOMEPLACE. I'VE BEEN TO HIS HOUSE BEFORE, BUT I DON'T REMEMBER EXACTLY WHERE IT IS." THAT'S WHEN HE ASKED ANOTHER OFFICER TO RUN THE JEEP LICENSE PLATE. WE CAME BACK WITH THE ADDRESS. HE ASKED THAT OFFICER, "IS THAT ADDRESS -- WHERE IS THAT ADDRESS IN RELATION TO," AND RISKE SAID, "IT'S NEAR CLIFFWOOD," AND THEN MARK FUHRMAN SAYS, "YEAH, I KNOW WHERE IT'S AT."
