And what nobody mentions and is the real reason that they didn't go into the shoes all that much is that in every FBI or cop forensics show I have ever seen or anything I have ever read, they have to prove it to be the EXACT pair of shoes--not just the brand or size.

For example the wear patterns or any knicks or cuts in the sole. Not just owning a pair of shoes like that would be proof positive.

Even if they proved he had a pair of shoes like that, if they did not have them to compare to the shoeprints--they are useless except for possibly circumstanial evidence.

BTW, since we are on the shoes and the shoeprints, I have seen two Law and Orders recently were the length of a shoeprint was 11 1/2 inches and they said the shoe size was between a 9 1/2 and a 10 1/2. Can't believe I forgot to tell you all that.
