I had a hunch Dick would do this. Now you may have a few more hints. I guess the word would be look and listen. Dreams, tunes in your head, odd things of any kind. Being drawn to a place or thing.
Hard part is knowing what is coincidence but don't discount anything and write it down. You may get more on the subject later. And things you might consider mistakes are good to check.
But honest, I just can't imagine Dick as a possum. Tigar, Bulldog, Panda Bear, but not possum.
