I went to your site and looked at your analysis of Bodziak’s testimony. You missed something. He didn't show shoeprints going back because there were none to show.
Bodziak did not say that there were shoeprints going back to the courtyard. He just said that the killer retuned. He didn’t need a set of shoeprints to determine that. He made a logical deduction based on the number of bloody shoeprints on the walkway (that fades as they went) and their placement relative to each other. In some places two left shoeprints or two right shoeprints were right next to each other. In one photo a left shoeprint overlapped another one. In some place there was one left shoeprint and no corresponding right one (more blood on the left shoe in one pass than the right). In another place the imprints went in opposite directions north and south.
Bodziak didn’t even attempt to explain how individual shoeprints ended up precisely where they were. He said only that there were too many of them going in the same direction to have been made in one pass.
All of the forensic experts questioned about the shoeprints agree that there was enough of a left/right patter to determine that the killer was taller than average and walked slowly to the rear of the condo both times. –Jasper
