One aspect Dick and I had talked about concerned conflicting testimony from Kato and Allan Park. Maybe you have already discussed this. The area we were concerned with had to do with when Park saw Kato. Now Kato says he came out along the path, stopped and saw the limo, then went on to check the noise behind his room. On the way back from his first trip, he saw the limo had not been let in and he opened the gate for Park.
Park says he saw Kato come out on the path, stop for a short time, then Park saw someone go into the house after which Kato opened the gate for him. Park did not see Kato go over to the garage.
It is easy to dismiss this and say Park just did not see Kato when he first came out but it does not answer why Kato would have gone back to that path before deciding to let the limo in. Kato also does not say he went back to that path.
I also remember Kato said he did not see Park in the limo when he first came out. Park on the other hand says he was on the phone to his boss when he saw Kato.
So if Kato did as he said and went to the side of the garage before letting Park in, he either had to run into OJ or OJ managed to come out of his house just after Kato passed by the front door, put his bags down and go back into the house immediately. Kato had to walk back to that path, stop to be seen by Park just standing there before he decided to let the limo in. Something isn't quite right about this but I am having difficulty putting my finger on it. I have suspected that is why the jury wanted a read back on where the "shadowy figure" was when Park saw him. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I know Jasper you have studied this alot and show Kato going down to the path by garage, coming back and then OJ coming out of the house. You would think Kato could have heard the door opening being that close.
