I just got through eviewing Park's testimony. You're right that he never mentioned seeing what Kato did at that time. If Kaelin did not specifically testify to what he did at those moments, then he said so to Eliot.
"I also remember Kato said he did not see Park in the limo when he first came out. Park on the other hand says he was on the phone to his boss when he saw Kato.
"So if Kato did as he said and went to the side of the garage before letting Park in, he either had to run into OJ or OJ managed to come out of his house just after Kato passed by the front door, put his bags down and go back into the house immediately...."
Sorry, Rose. It doesn't mean anything like that at all. It went like this, according to Park: (1)Kaelin came out to the front on the siee path, (2) almost immediately or simultaneously, Park saw the 6 foot tall 200 pound Black man in dark clothing, (3) the Black man went into the house. WQe can then surmise that (4) kaelin then went to his first trip.to the south path.
IOW, there is no reason to believe that Kaelin would have had to have met OJ on his way to the south path, if it it was the case -- which it wasn't -- that OJ was coming from the south path.

Except that kaelin FIRST went to the south path and THEN came back and opened the gate. Park testified that he did not see what Kaelin was doing in those moments, but was talking to Dale St. John on the car phone.
"Something isn't quite right about this but I am having difficulty putting my finger on it. I have suspected that is why the jury wanted a read back on where the "shadowy figure" was when Park saw him. Anyone have any thoughts on this?..."
I forget exactly where I read or heard it, but I believe it was in an interview with the Hispanic Pepse truck driver. It MAY also be in Amanda Cooley's book. The jurors concluded that "OJ" simply could not have gotten from the south path to front door in the time allowed in Clark's theory. Having all agreed on this one point, they did not feel it necesary to go on deliberating. After all, they were a jury, not some kind of fact-finding commission.
"I know Jasper you have studied this alot and show Kato going down to the path by garage, coming back and then OJ coming out of the house. You would think Kato could have heard the door opening being that close.

Now for the serendipitous discovery:
A universal point in all no-j scenarios is that "OJ saw the limosine t the Ashford gate and, not wanting to be seen by the limo driver, came to a screeching halt and parked at a lopsided angle".
I have already pointed out that, assuming the limo was pakred at the Ashford gate with the lights on, "OJ" would not have had time to see it and respond and park the way it was.
Now, I have just discovered that what is wrong with this detail of no-j scenarios is that THE LIMO WAS NEVER PARKED AT THE ASHFORD AGTE WITH THE HEADLIGHTS ON.
In fact, IT WASN'T PARKED AT THE ASHFORD GATE AT ALL UNTIL 10:39. Furthermore, when it was parked there THE HEADLIGHTS WERE TURNED OFF AND ONLY THE PARKING LIGHTS WERE ON.
(Among other things, Rose, this mean Dick's section "What the Limo Driver saw" on his web site -- which shows the limo with its headlights on, and analyzes what Park might hadve seen --is so totally spurious tht it has to be rewritten or simpoy eliminated. Sorry)
Before 10:39, the limo was parked across the stret from the Ashford gate, facing west. This is the time frame wehn no-js say "OJ" drove up in the Bronco. Also remember that "OJ" had to have enough time to get back to Kaelin's wall to make the thumps.
Dick and I have alrady made has out of the no-j theories. I have forgotten if this "seeing the limo" detail is a significant part of Dick's own theory. But any theory that uses this detail is ipso facto wrong.
