Jasper,
Everything about the fuhrman notes stinks. From where he says he was writing them on Nicole's couch, (with candles on the table and soft music playing, having a romantic moment all by himself BEFORE the house has been searched) to how the notes finally ended up with Uelman, on the second day of his cross of fuhrman.
He wrote "When I was two-thirds done writing down my observations Ron walked in from the garage." Ron told him that the case had been reassigned. He then went back into the house and finished his notes. It's interesting that the last-third part of the notes, #13 to #16, allegedly written after the case was no longer fuhrman's, has all the vital information on the case: the blood on the back gate, the ski mask, ONE glove, and - the bloody fingerprint.
It's human nature to remember the most important first, or at the least note things down in the order they were observed. #16, the skimask and one glove was the first things that Riske showed him, and it is a very important discovery. Yet he notes it down last, totally out of order and after he has been released from the case.
Then the chain of custody: fuhrman gives the notes to Phillips who gives them to Vanatter who gives them to --whom??? Clark didn't see the notes till long after. It must have been after they "found" the additional drop of blood on the back gate in July or they would have looked for the bloody finger print also.
I don't know what this all means, but something's wrong.
