As a matter of fact , YES! Like OJ, Kaelin assumed that St. John would come to pick up OJ according to their well-established routine. Remmeber Park saying how Kzelin just stood there for a few seconds? When Kaelin heard the telephone ring when park buzzed at the Ashford gate, he waited long enough for St. John -- if it had been St. John -- to enter. Kaelin expected that they would at least be almost finished loading the limo, and maybe on their way already. Kaelin wanted to report the thumps to the limo driver and OJ but do so so late in the departure routine that OJ wouldn't, after all, go down to the south path.
