Though I have many things to do, I often read as a way to relax. I am finishing up the new book by Steve Hodel, ex-LAPD and private investigator, on the Black Dehlia murder. It is very fascinating and appears he may have solved this and other cases. There was one thing I caught and thought those on this board would be interested in. Steve indicates that a Brian Carr was put in charge of the investigation in 1994 and still is the LAPD investigator. The bethshort.com website indicates Paul Tippen (her spelling) was in charge in 1994 and Brian Carr took over in 1996. For those interested in this murder, the book "Black Dehlia Avenger" will shed new light on the old case and makes a clear case for a police coverup. Steve Hodel names his father and his father's friend as the killers.
