Discussing the autopsies in the Bundy murders brings up some questions that I haven't thought about for a while.
Tom Lange testified that he had a blanket put over Nicole's body to keep it out of view from the press that had started to gather. He said that the blanket didn't disturb the blood splatter on Nicole's back.
Ratcliff wrote in her coroner's report that there was blood on Nicole's arms and legs. She doesn't mention blood on her back, (and there was a very significant pattern). I believe it was Lange who testified that unfourtunately somebody erred at the coroner's office and washed down the bodies before the blood on Nicole's back had been collected. They did however manage to sample and test the blood on her arms and legs.
If Rokhar took the pictures that show the blood on the back, then the time must have been before Lange returned to Bundy and put the blanket on the body. Rohkar went to Bundy right after fuhrman returned. Or so they say.
Do you know of pictures of Nicole's back that were taken after the blanket was removed and before the autopsy? Did the coroner's office bring their own photographer? I remember someting about taking pictures before and after removing the bodies.
