I didn't know that they collected the blood from her arms, etc. and that it would have been after the so-called 'washing down" of the body.
There would have been NO still wet blood on her back early in the morning. It would have been dried by then. Gently lying a blanket over it would not have disturbed it and certainly not washed it away.
And from what I have heard nurses from emergency rooms say--you have to work to get dried blood off.
What they could have done is rolled her over onto the sidewalk and any wet blood there would have messed up the pattern anyway. At the least it contaminated that area on her back for future forsenic study.
