The liver temperature formula has an error margin that cannot be calculated because so many unknown internal and external factors can affect it. The differences you named between Ron and Nicole (plus some you didn’t name) don’t matter because no one knows what differences there were in their body temperature IMMEDIATELY before they died. The “exact” temperature isn’t “exact enough” to show an hour’s worth of difference in the actual time of death, much less a range of one to ten minutes.
Let me put it this way… A computer can tell you within five, ten or as many decimal points as you want what an “exact” measurement is. Your basic thermometer can’t. There is a lot of slop even in a fraction of one degree. –Jasper
