Tippen and Carr were the ones Freddie Freeloader and his hysterical daughter met at Ron's apartment and watched them move out personal items. Tippen and Carr took items into evidence. In other words, whatever evidence in the apartment was either contaminated or destroyed. I've never understood the emergency to get in and get everything out of that apartment the very day Ron's body was found. I find it somewhat goulish.
