In my last post to Allita I mentioned that there is no reasonable explanation of kaelin's 'thumps' except that he made them up.
Now, as I remember reading your theory, one or another of your conspirators produced the thumps by standing on the Salinger's side of the fence and reaching over with a golf club or two-by-four or similar object.
A weeks or so ago, for a reason I've forgotten, I was browing Bob August's site. On it, he has produced a photo taken from OJ's interview video shwoing OJ standing by the air conditioner on the south pathway. The foliage on the fence is quite visible.
Then I remmebered that one of Dick Wagner's last major works of research was a detailed analysis of the Salinger property next to that fence.
What he discovered shows that your theory of thumps is invalid, and August's reproduced photo adds even more disproof.
Guess what was DIRECTLY behind the wall area where Kaelin said the thumps occurred -- the exact area where your conspirator would have had to stand in order to reach over the fence with his club to make the thumps?
Salinger's carport, that's what. I forget exactly how far Dick determined the side of the carport was from the fence, but, hey it was NARROW.
Now go aback to Augst's photo and look what was DIRECTLY BEHIND the wall area of the thumps.
The very thickest part of the foliage, that's what. Including a tree with branches four inches thick that would have been standing precisely in the face of anyone on the other side trying to reach over the fence with a club. And, remember further, this conspirator is working in the pitch dark, with Rosa Lopez in the house with the Salinger's dog.
Okay. But let us disregard all that for the moment. There's other reasons your theory makes no sense.
For instance, how would the consprators know that (1) kaelin would be in his room to hear the thumps, (2)that he would, in fact, hear them over a tv, radio, stereo, or phone call he may have been using, and (3) that he would then respond to the thumps as the conspirators wanted him to?
Now, anyone who engages in a murder conpiracy is taking the unltimate risk in life. If you're going to plan such an act, you're going to be careful in the planning.
Now, having as an element of such a risky plan the sub-plan to manipulate Kaelin through making those thumps which (a) would have been very, very difficult to accomplish, and (b) couldn't be sure to work, anyway, and (c) puts a conspirator in a trap if Rosa Lopez or the dog shows up......
Well, this makes about as much sense, and is as believable, as thinking a bank robber would choose to use a pogo stick for his escape vehicle.
