The Rocha's are under no obligation to help the defense of the person that they believe killed their daughter.
That said, I think there is more to it than that. I think Sharon and the lawyers are catching the Peterson's in lies. I know I have caught them a few times bending the truth more than a little bit.
Jeffrey Figer said days ago that Geragoes better "fix" this NOW before it escalates.
I think if Sharon and her family had been allowed in to "visit' but not remove things a while ago, this would never have escalated to this point.
If they wanted that house video-taped so badly, they should have had a video camera out there the next morning after the Peterson's had it cleaned up and the pool cleaned. No delay. The delay put Sharon and her family off once again. And it put them off indefinitely--at a point in time her patience was at an end with them.
The Peterson's and Scott looked bad for not allowing Sharon into the house.
And the insult on top of insults was one of Scott's lawyers saying that Sharon and company could have planted evidence. What about the Peterson's being in there dozens of times since Scott was arrested and then cleaning it from top to bottom? Easily have removed something that the cops missed or that Scott told them to remove. That knife cuts both ways.
Sharon hadn't intended to take 7 truckloads. She had a short list of things she wanted--including Laci's wedding dress. But when it was obvious that Scott and the Petersons were going to fight her over even those things--she got mad--really mad.
It may be Scott's house but he and his family look really really bad for locking out Laci's family (padlocks) and it WAS reported in the news that a crew came and changed the locks. I recall that. And also for being seemingly greedy that things that were given to Laci down thru the family now belonged to Scott.
Sharon and her family have acted with all the "class' in the world. Doesn't it make you wonder what caused this abrupt change and caused her to act in this fashion?
I heard Jackie myself make the claim to Greta Van Sustern that Sharon had never asked to come into the house to her or to the lawyers--when in fact lists had been exchanged thru lawyers and some things delivered to the Rocha's lawyer's office--but not all the things on the list. Negoiations evidently had been going on for quite a while--yet Jackie denied this about night before last on live tv.
After having a friendship for years, Sharon found it hard to be lied to and about on national tv and just finally got tired of it.
