I just recalled something that Jackie said live on tv to Greta when she said Sharon could go anytime into the house using her key.
She also said--BUT there is nothing left of Laci's there. The police took ALL of Laci's things--her clothes, etc. Nothing of Laci is left in that house.
THis would have burned a saint. And as most of us saw there were about 7 truckloads of Laci's STUFF in that house including clothes that Jackie said was not there.
I was also reminded of something I had heard at the time of her disappearance but it had fallen off the radar with all the other stuff going on.
From the beginning, Laci's sister, Amy, and the others in the beauty salon where Scott was getting his hair cut by Amy the evening before --while Laci rested in another area--told Amy and the others that he had a golf tee date early the next morning and where and then he offered to pick up for Amy a fruit basket that she had had made up for a gift since it was in that area. Amy was called by the store later on Christmas Eve asking her if anybody was going to pick it up since they were close to closing. That was the first she knew that Scott had not gone golfing or at least that he hadn't picked up the fruit basket.
I am sure they have all the witnesses in the beauty shop plus Amy and the store clerk who called and he may have even been told that Scott was supposed to have picked it up.
So, somehow, his plans got drastically changed. And at the very very least, if there wasn't a murder in the mean time, he failed to notify Amy that he couldn't pick up the gift afterall.
And I am quite sure that they can tell whether or not he had reservations at his new club the next morning and cancelled or if he just didn't show up.
And if he didn't, it shows him to be a world class BSer and always blowing smoke--and people just put up with it.
