I'm thinking about the "cave man" style that was mentioned. Martha was apparently moved from where the attack started to where she died. Was there a reason for that. Could that have been the cave man thing, to drag the woman behind them by the hair? I just got the book in the mail together with Murdere in Brentwood, the pocket book. I have long known that fuhrman made changes for the pocket book edition and I'm curious why. But I'll start with Murder in Greeenwich.
