There is an area of this case that I feel never got enough discussion--serious discussion...and that is Mary Anne Gerges (sp).
I know that she allegedly was a wanted person for a $20,000 bill at a motel that spring. Less of a reason to come forward. Her lawyer stated he had never ever seen a case handled like hers. NO attempt to recover any money but a driven force to get her out of the way and in jail. And she was in jail for a year.
OJ's PI's discounted her because she had a stack of tabloids with OJ on the front in her office. So, probably at that time, I had a stack of the tabloids as well. And I know if I had witnessed something--I would have a drive to read everything I could about it.
If in fact, what we now suspect that there were more people on the scene than just the killer--lookouts, perhaps surveillance teams, etc., it isn't that much of stretch to say she did see a group of men running away.
Other people who saw things in the neighborhood--were also ignored---or we didn't hear about them for a long time afterwards.
With everybody so intent on accusing OJ and OJ AlONE you may recall...any and all info that came in about multiple people or groups of people were ignored.
Or any info that people heard men arguing behind Nicole's condo in the alley was ignored.
And then there is Dunton who was told that there were witnesses (a PI) and the media shined its light--only briefly til he denied it--on Tony Pellicano.
IN Freed's book (I think it was that one and not Bosco's) it was told that LAPD had teams that actually "lived' in the neighborhood after the murders and checked out the neighborhood and the people who lived in it. I think it more than likely that they were already there prior to the murders if we are correct and there was a big operation going on.
And as far as a video of the murder as per the DEA. It would depend on where they were. If situated in a house or apt across the street---they might could see the front gate at the condo. Or it could be more like video of people coming and going rather than the murder itself---perhaps with some of the action taking place out on the front walkway. Remember in the civil trial, we learned from Fung that there were blood drops out on the front SIDEWALK in front of the condo.
When you take all the "other" witnesses who never saw the light of day---it points to a "team" being there.
As as to Jill. I have no doubt that she believes she saw OJ and a white Bronco. But if you have a team doing this--it is not a stretch to have someone who could pass for OJ --imitate his voice-driving the streets driving recklessly--hoping someone would witness it.
