Lollie,

The “them” instead of “it” statement that Fuhrman made was not what F. Lee Bailey, Johnnie Cochran and Berry Scheck tried to make of it. Following Steven Singular’s asserting that Fuhrman found two bloody gloves on Bundy and carried one of them to Rockingham to plant they missed the context of Fuhrman’s statement. Riske was asking Fuhrman if he saw the glove AND the cape. He answered that he did see them. I thought that Fuhrman scored big points on that one.

Marcia also scored big in her rebuttal. This truly was a “smoke and mirrors” ploy by the defense – one that I believe she and Fuhrman wanted the defense to make. Among people like me who were sitting on the fence, it tilted us in favor of the prosecution.

The defense never looked at Fuhrman as a murder suspect. Their planted glove theory took them as far away from that as they could go. They viewed him strictly as a racist cop who came on the scene in his official capacity and took the opportunity he had with finding both blood gloves on Bundy to frame O.J. with one of them on Rockingham.

Carl Douglas and Bill Pavelic were right to reject Singular’s planted glove theory because, as they told him according to his account in Legacy of Deception, it COULDN’T have happened that way. –Jasper
