I don't know about every night either Jean but once the bill had gotten up near a $1000, I would say they would check.
Many people have LIMITS on their cards. I have one from my credit union that HAS a $1000 limit. I have others (or have had at times) that were 5,000 or more.
I don't own a Gold card or any that would be $20,000.
AT some point---the credit card company could decline it.
