Jasper, I must say I am surprised at the praise for MF in the Spokane book. MF has Always made it sound like he had great ideas and was the greatest cop ever and made it sound like he knew the better thing to do.
I am not surprised he did this in Spokane even more than the others.
What is wrong with it is, however, is that if the underlying facts about the case, what the cops did or did not do are lies---then he has built on a collapsing deck of cards. It means nothing.
If, in fact, there are nearly 400 lies in the book about the case--what he says about it is meaningless--no matter how good it sounds.
