I caught the antecedent to Darden saying that Fuhrman killed two people. Now that you have brought it up, I clearly recall when he said it because it made no sense in the context of what he was apparently trying to do.
I assumed he was trying to say that you can’t get from point A to point B WITHOUT using your common sense. It is not logical to conclude that because Fuhrman is a racist he must have planted the glove. I though that he just got his words tangled up in the excitement of the moment. However, I now believe that the statement he made WAS a Freudian slip. What he said next about Fuhrman committing the murders wasn’t.
Darden might have been hiding a smile under his tears. He might also have been really crying – in relieve that he was finally out of that mess. –Jasper
